performance with Maya Fridman (cello/voice), live-coded scores and dialog and voice utterance classification system

A collaboration with cellist/vocalist Maya Fridman, where algorithmic fragments are live coded to generate scores for cello based on a body of Fridman’s work. Fridman and Reus are able to communicate using a voice classification system that listens for different vocal utterances from Fridman which then effect the code generating the scores. As code is executed is it displayed over the live projected score, along with questions from Reus to Fridman and the audience on how to influence the algorithms in new directions.
